Sikkim is the house of three distinct races, the Lepchas, Bhutias, and Tsongs. Lepcha women folk effort on conventional back strap loin loom. The cloth woven by the women is used for customary coat stuff. Cotton yarn is the fundamental material where as the woollen yarn is exploited for the ornamentation on the coat. The length of the coat textile is 3.5 meter and the breadth is reserved at 55 cm. nowadays the local artisans as well effort on stuff for example bags, gloves etc.
